Contributors must adhere to the following formatting guidelines to ensure uniformity and readability across all submissions. Submissions not following these guidelines may be returned for revision.
General Formatting for All
Submissions
- File
Format:
- All
submissions should be in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) and PDF for
text-based submissions; high-resolution JPEG/PNG for artworks.
- Font:
Use Unicode-compatible fonts.
Recommended fonts:
- English:
Times New Roman
- Hindi:
Noto Sans Devanagari or Mangal
- Bengali:
Noto Sans Bengali or Kalpurush
- Other
Indian Languages: Use Unicode-supported fonts specific to the language.
- Font
Size:
- Title:
16 pt, bold.
- Subheadings:
14 pt, bold.
- Body
Text: 12 pt.
- Spacing
and Margins:
- Line
Spacing: 1.5 lines throughout the document.
- Paragraph
Spacing: 6 pt before and after paragraphs.
- Margins:
1-inch on all sides.
- Page
Layout:
- Orientation:
Portrait.
- Page
Size: A4 (8.27 x 11.69 inches).
- Alignment:
Justified for the body text.
- Word
Count:
- The
word count should adhere to the guidelines for specific types of
submissions (see below).

Naming:
- Save
the file as: “Contributor Name_Article Title.docx”.
Formatting for Specific Article
Types
- Creative
Write-Ups (Poems, Stories, Feature Articles, and Others):
- Poems:
- Format:
Single-spaced.
- Alignment:
Center-aligned or as per the creative structure.
- Word
Count: Up to 500 words.
- Stories:
- Format:
Use regular prose layout.
- Word
Count: 800–1200 words.
- Feature
Articles:
- Include
a title and optional subheadings to organize the content.
- Word
Count: 1000–1500 words.
- Others
(Puzzles, Quizzes, Artworks):
- For
non-text submissions like artworks or comics, submit high-resolution
JPEG/PNG files.
- Provide
a descriptive note (up to 200 words) accompanying the artwork.
- Research
Articles:
- Abstract: Include an abstract
(100–200 words) at the beginning.
- Structure: Introduction, Main Content
(use subheadings), Conclusion.
- Citations: Use in-text citations in APA
format.
- Word
Count: 1500–2500 words.
Declarations by the Contributors
- Declaration
of Authorship:
- “I,
[Contributor’s Full Name], declare that I am the sole author of the
submitted work, and it has not been published elsewhere or submitted for
publication to any other magazine, journal, or platform.”
- Declaration
of Originality and Anti-Plagiarism:
- “I,
[Contributor’s Full Name], affirm that the submitted work is my original
creation and is free from any form of plagiarism. I understand that any
breach of this declaration will result in rejection and future
disqualification.”
